Class Of ’25

“We may live in an age of instant messaging, instant gratification and Instagram, but there is no way to short circuit the path to success.” —Tory Burch

May is not only known for humidity, but also, it’s the graduation month! I was in three different cities last week on a road trip. Everywhere I went there were groups of young people preparing to celebrate a uniquely American tradition that is followed from kindergarten to Masters; The Graduation Ceremony.

Wearing graduation robes and caps  hordes of young people were everywhere; crossing the streets or pausing on a sidewalk for pictures or having lunch together: laughing, screaming and singing. It’s just high energy and great vibes everywhere! And You can’t help but feel happy and excited for them. I graduated more than five years ago, and I still remember this storm of mixed feelings! Excitement, happiness, and fear of the vague future altogether at the same time. Congratulations to everyone who made it this year! And let me tell you from experience that no matter how confused you are, everything will fall in place. It might take time, but you’ll figure it out eventually. Don’t overthink it; enjoy the moment and celebrate with your friends before it’s too humid and there are no good hair days anymore. This is your launch pad, the last of your carefree youth and the beginning of your adult journey. Fly to the moon guys!
