Conspriacy? You Can’t Even Spell It!

I can’t stand conspriacy theorists. My dad and I always joke that conspiracies come to die in bureaucracies. People can’t organize and smoothly run a DMV, they certainly can’t organize well enough to run lizard people sex trafficking rings, or subliminal ad messaging. Most massive financial scandals aren’t covered up with intense plotting and scheming, they’re just bogged down by tons of paperwork. Yes, mass coverups and corruption exist, people turn a blind eye to pedophilic and abusive men if they have money and status, hello Epstein and Weinstein. But that isn’t a grandiose and dramatic conspiracy, it’s much worse, it’s just your regular, everyday behavior that is only exposed because of the money and status of the perpetrators. Quite literally everyone knew Weinstein was an abusive prick, the cat was not in the bag, it was never in the bag, and that’s what’s so irritating about conspiracy theories. It’s such a misunderstanding of the real issue. Why do you want aliens and complex criminal organizations to exist, why would you want all that when regular, boring, standard, 7-11 type abuses of power are already a part of literally everybody’s daily life. Like for God’s sake, the women at the park with a european accent and blonde bob isn’t trying to tranquilize you and ship you to Korea where you’ll be turned into a sex slave just because she asked for directions, but what is reality, is that sexual and physical abuse is almost always someone the victim knows, family, friends, coworkers. And even then, sure conspiracies do sometimes exist, like the CIA and crack making its way into black neighborhoods, but conspiracy theorists never talk about the real life conspiracies!! Like do you really need a conspiracy to explain how Marylin Monroe, a woman consistently abused by men her entire life, ended up overdosing after her entanglement with two of the world’s most powerful men… conspiracy theorists are overly optimistic.
